KDVR Denver – Sometimes they are the “forgotten ones” … People who have to work on Thanksgiving.
Members and non-members of House for All Sinners and Saints Lutheran Church were busy packing sack lunches for those very people.
Dozens of turkey sandwiches were made, along with a side of stuffing and dessert.
The sandwiches were then put in boxes and delivered to local businesses, as well as police and fire departments.
The goal was to feed more than 2,000 Coloradans Thursday.
St. Thomas is located in Denver’s Park Hill neighborhood.
